About this trip
There's a sense of tranquility that comes from spending time in the snow covered mountains. Join us as we trek throughout the majestic frozen slopes of Mt. Hood. During the winter, the mountain transforms and takes on an entirely new personality. No experience? No winter weather gear? No Problem! We specialize in making these stunning landscapes and exciting activities available for all!
Overnight winter camping, snow caves and winter survival skills are also available upon request.

what to pack
If you are missing any of these items, please contact AWL as we are able to provide many of these items if you do not have them.
Lunch, Snacks & Water Bottle (at least 2 Liters)
Synthetic Clothing Materials like nylon, polyester, polypropylene, spandex. Avoid cotton and contact us if you need these synthetic clothing. Dressing in layers that can be removed as you get hot & cold is important.
Secure footwear (watershoes, secure sandals or sneakers- no flip flops please)
Small bag to hold items
Change of clothes & towel
