Open Enrollment (OE) Trips - Level I

Anyone can sign-up for our open enrollment trips, regardless of your background or ability level.  We organize the activity and date, you sign-up and have fun!  Transportation, gear, equipment and trained staff are all included in the price for our OE trips.

Open enrollment trips generally run around $60 per person, and multi-day trips average about $80 to $100 per day, which includes meals, camping, all gear and instruction.  Scholarships are available.

General Information


Single day trips are priced at $60. Multiple Day trips average about $80-$100 per day which includes transportation, meals, camping, all gear and instruction. To secure a spot on our open enrollment trips we require a 50% deposit. Scholarships are available.

Upon registering you will receive a confirmation e-mail including program registration and liability forms to fill out. Your registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

An agenda and equipment list will be sent out to you one week prior to the trip. 

Cancellation or Refund Policy:

Open Enrollment Trips:  If you need to cancel your spot on a trip, you must do so 7 days before the date of the trip and have your cancellation confirmed by an Adventures Without Limits employee.  Due to investments in planning, staff, supplies and gear, cancellations within 7 days of your trip will result in a charge of 50% of the trip cost.  If AWL chooses to cancel a trip you will be given a full refund of your deposit.

Brokerage Customer Cancelation Policy:  Customers who sign up for an Open Enrollment trip are agreeing that they will be going on that trip. Invoices will be sent to the customer’s PA after they have gone on their trip. If a customer wishes to cancel their spot on the trip, they must do so at least 7 days before the trip date. If a customers paying with brokerage dollars cancels within 7 days of the trip date then they, not the brokerage, will be charged 50% of the trip cost. The customer’s PA will be notified of the cancelation.

Our Dedication to Safety:

Participant safety is our #1 priority. At least one leader on each trip is required to have advanced Wilderness First Aid, or Wilderness First Responder. Both staff and volunteers are required to have 1) a clean driving record authorized by the DMV, 2) a criminal history background check, 3) driver training which includes defensive driving instruction and 4) outdoor recreation skills. In addition primary trip leaders have extensive personal and professional experience in outdoor recreation, so you can be assured of a safe and rewarding adventure.


We provide full and partial scholarships on all trips for those needing financial assistance. However, we can provide only so many per trip so call soon to receive a scholarship application and to reserve a spot on the trip you want!

Custom Designed Trips:

If any of the trips in the schedule do not meet your needs you can gather a group of friends, family, co-workers, etc., and we can coordinate a personalized adventure trip just for you. Choose from any of our activities and an extensive list of destinations!
